Essays presented at the Consultation on Higher Education in Winnipeg, June 1997.
The challenge of Christian educators is to envision and embody institutions that will attract students, educate them, and thereby build the church and God's reign. On June 13-15, 1997, a group of Mennonite College/Seminary/University staff, faculty, administrators and board members gathered to address these and related challenges. The overall goal was to bring these people together to interact with one another on the question of what the Mennonite higher education enterprise is all about. These essays are the outcome of these discussions.
