Whatever happens in the world economy in the coming months, one thing is certain: advocating for an ethical economy – one that works toward the biblical ideal of sufficiency for all and is resistant to exploitation – will be a priority, especially for clergy and lay leaders.
Building an Ethical Economy will bring together leading theologians and economists to talk about the relationship between economics and Christian belief and action. Speakers will address topics including:
Each speaker will talk about one of these questions in detail, followed by responses from the other speakers, and audience questions. Interactive reflection groups throughout the conference will provide attendees with an opportunity to discuss what’s been said and share their own thoughts and experiences.
