In an age when work, entertainment, and gadgets clamour for our attention, how can we hear and ponder God's Word? Dig In is a new tool for groups to gather around Scripture - hearing it in fresh ways, reflecting on the different ways it affects our lives, and inviting the Spirit to make it practical for today.

The thirteen sessions (participant and leader's guide included) draw on key Bible passages that have been important to Anabaptist Christians over the centuries - and that continue to challenge us to follow Jesus' radical way. Each session includes storytelling, background information, video clips from ordinary people interacting with the text, and a prayerful reading and response to the Scripture. Warning: this guide doesn't let us stay in our heads; it moves us toward the experience of God's work in our lives.

This group study comes out of two Mennonite Church efforts to engage Scripture, "Being a Faithful Church" (Mennonite Church Canada) and Year of the Bible (Mennonite Church USA).
