Using her own story, and the stories of other parents who have lost children, Hunt discusses several steps that grieving parents take along the pilgrimage. Rather than prescribing a path that will lead to recovery, Hunt shows us the many paths that parents will take after the death of a child and encourages them to find the path that works for them. Questions for discussion and reflection are included for each chapter. This book helps grieving parents and other survivors, such as siblings and friends, along their way toward survival and recovery.
