Questions From the Pickle Jar: Teens and Sex

In sex ed classes, teachers sometimes let kids write down anonymous questions about sex and put them in a big jar (like a pickle jar). Kids can ask anything they want, and they get their answers without a side order of embarrassment. Author Ron DeBoer (who works with high schoolers and is the dad of four teenagers) wants kids to think of this book as a pickle jar. Inside are a ton of questions teens ask, including questions about

• dating and relationships
• premarital sex
• abuse
• homosexuality
pornography

Teens might not find all the answers here. But they’ll find lots of advice about sex, how God made it to be, and how to handle it when the pressure’s on.
