Sit on my Bench of Mourning with Me: A Pilot Study on the Needs and Experiences of Partners of Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse

Over the last number of years, the church community has become increasingly aware of those within its midst who have been hurt by child abuse. We have not, however, listened to the stories of their partners. Partners of survivors often carry a lonely pain.

The results of this study are clear. Partners of survivors indicate a strong need for support - a need to be listened to, believed, and mourned with.
