Meditating on the Bible means becoming part of a story of love and trust. Throughout the Bible, God invites each of us to place our confidence in him so as to enter into a communion without end.

The Taize Community is well known for its teaching, which opens up the Bible in a fresh and clear way. In addition to the relevant scripture, each of the short meditations in this book is followed by questions, a song from Taize, and a prayer written by the founder of the Taize community, Brother Roger.

In order to put down deep roots in the human heart and be brought to fruition there over time, however, this trust needs to overcome a host of fears, worries, and difficulties, and then constantly be nourished, protected, and renewed. These meditations are divided into six chapters describing this inner journey: Discovering a Love; To the Wellsprings of Forgiveness; Toward an Inner Healing; Rediscovering Hope; Going Forward with Discernment; Learning to Love.

Includes sixty Bible meditations written by members of the Taize community.
