Money Matters for Youth: Integrating Faith and Finances
Where do youth learn about money?
In our world of exposure to 5,000 ad images a day, youth are bombarded with messages that you are what you buy. Rather than just hoping that youth will somehow just pick up good money habits, Abundance Canada wants to encourage money conversations between youth and their adult mentors in churches.
We hope by providing resources such as Money Matters for Youth: Integrating faith and finances, that youth leaders, teachers and parents will have tools with which they can talk with youth about money from a biblical values perspective – and have some fun doing it.
The resource may be used in its entirety as a 6-8 week study or adapted for stand-alone discussions/events. The resource is a 28-page pdf, available for viewing online or for download. There are 5 chapters, plus the appendix:
