Who is In and Who is Out
LUMINOUS: May - June 2019

Who is In and Who is Out draws attention to and documents what was once only silent discrimination and now has become an increasingly open dialogue being played out in the media and in communities around us.

This body of work in photography, LUMINOUS, precariously suggests narratives that aim to elucidate the disjuncture and tension between perceptions of outdoor/indoor, nature/culture, and domestic/public spaces. The portraits in landscapes are dichotomies interrogating deeper (dis)connections to the environment as a domain of an unconscious; a dream time that insinuates an apostasy for the allure of the sensual.
