Conversations after Church

Julia was a promising PhD student in Theology at Princeton. Mark founded an unconventional outreach ministry called the Red Herring Cathedral. Karen and Allen were both gifted leaders and musicians in their churches. Derek and Joy worked with their church community to serve the poor in Winnipeg’s North End.

Six ordinary individuals, committed to the church and seeking to serve God, encounter a dark night of the soul moving them beyond organized religion and into a personal crisis of faith. What started out as a mounting tension between personal experience and the old forms of faith and community, forces each individual to radically reexamine their worldview and change their lives to move beyond the fragmentation.
