Anabaptist Disabilities Network
Information is important for caregivers, family members, and persons who live with disabilities and mental illness. In many cases, the needed information is available, but those who live in the midst of stressful daily lives which often lurch from one crisis to the next have a hard time gaining easy access to that information.
The ADNet Information Center is a starting point to discover the best resources for churches, pastors, friends, and families. The focus of these pages is on information available on the Internet, but other avenues will be considered as well.
Included are the following pages:
- The Resources pages focus on what is offered directly by ADNet or Anabaptist-related partners.
- The Denominations and Ministries sections under the Churches menu give information on select Christian ministries related to disabilities and mental illness.
- Congregational Accessibility Network (CAN) that helps congregations both assess its level of welcoming for people with disabilities and then take the next step toward greater accessibility.
