In the Nativity, God puts aside our notions of what makes us important - to introduce us to a child that we should welcome. It seems a very unimportant thing, the birth of this baby, but the angels of Heaven can't contain their joy, and Herod can't contain his fear.

We listen in as the angel tells the good news to Mary. We learn of Joseph and Mary's visit to Bethlehem. we experience the shepherd's surprise as angels tell them the news of Christ's birth. We see the Magi as they visit Herod and follow the star to the newborn child. We sing and retell the very important story of God's action in our lives through the birth of Jesus Christ.
