Write Hand Lettering: Hand-Painted Banners and Art

Cheryl Weber Good is a freelance calligraphy artist with a passion for linking art and worship. For her, the creative process is a celebration of God’s gifts to us. The ability to experience a text by choosing colours, layout, and images can be a worship experience.

The name “Write Hand Lettering” emerged from her ability to sit down with a person who has a vision that needs a hand to do the work.

Hand Lettering is an old craft with a new calligraphic dimension that Cheryl developed to bring a message alive. The majority of her work is banners for churches, but her work is in colleges, institutions, counselling centres and homes.

Cheryl’s enthusiasm and love are truly contagious.

Much of her inspiration comes from hiking the fields and forests where she lives, at her farm close to New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada.
