Beyond Our Fears Leader's Guide: Following Jesus in Times of Crisis

When a flu pandemic or national disaster visits your community, will your congregation be ready? Governments and hospitals have plans - but do we as Jesus' followers know what we will do? How will we experience and share God's healing and hope when times are difficult?

This guide book is a companion to two books that help individuals and congregations think about and prepare for a crisis: Beyond our Fears: Following Jesus in Times of Crisis (Participant Guide), a book of stories and Scripture reflections for adults and youth; and Don't Be Afraid: Stories of Christians in Times of Trouble, for children aged nine through twelve.

This guide is a tool to help the church prepare for times of crisis. Use this resource for:

• Adult studies
• Youth group
• Children's activities (ages 9-12)
• Worship services (includes worship materials for 3 services)
