The Sacred Tree, as presented in this booklet, has been written to compare Aboriginal Sacred Teachings about the Sacred Tree and the Bible's use of trees to proclaim messages of wisdom and healing and hope. This is one way of demonstrating the missional teaching that God was active within the Aboriginal wisdom tradition before missionaries gave Aboriginal people the Bible, and that God's love, righteousness and wisdom are evident within those teachings.
