In these meditations, Bishop Steven Charleston presents congregations in search of reconciliation with a way to come together to reflect on their discipleship to Jesus Christ in the midst of disagreement. The issues confronting any congregation will vary - they may be global, as faith communities respond to national or international events in the life of the church, or local, as congregations seek clarity and consensus for their own ministry. Conflicts, whether gentle disagreements or serious breakdowns, are inevitable. The challenge for Christians is to work through them in a way that strengthens community.
