Many Peoples Sunday Service - Breaking Down Barriers
PART OF SERIES Many Peoples Sunday Series
by Raul Bogoya
2010, 5 pp
Mennonite Church Canada has become ethnically and racially diverse. On any given Sunday our churches worship God in fourteen languages. Our potluck meals include bannock and borscht, spring rolls and cabbage rolls, samosas and sushi. This variety is God's intention for the church and is a great blessing to us. So it is right and good that we acknowledge and praise God, because "once we were not a people, but now we are God's people" - all of us together.
