C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) ranks as one of the greatest Christian apologists of the 20th century. A teacher at the two great English universities of Oxford and Cambridge, Lewis had a kenn eye for deception and middled thinking. When it came to spiritual matters, he took on not only the outright atheist, but the lukewarm and halfhearted Christian.
Reading him daily during Lent is a bracing and uplifting way to reflect on the progress of our own faith. Accordingly, we are pleased to present this booklet of excerpts from some of Lewis' major works. We have added short prayers at the end of each passage to serve as prayer starters. But the main course is Lewis himself - direct, clever, challenging and devout.
