Christians have strayed from the gospel that was preached by Jesus and the apostles. Some even think Jesus could not have preached the gospel. Some ask if Jesus preached Paul's gospel. Some reduce the gospel to a message of personal salvation. Scot McKnight opens up the Scriptures to help us revisit the original good news, and what he discovers is that much of what Christians claim to be the gospel is not what Jesus and the apostles preached. Maybe one reason why Christians walk away from the Church is because what Jesus preached and what churches preach are not the same gospel.
