In Swaziland, a country of 1 million people located in southeast Africa, more than 40% of the population has contracted HIV/AIDS, and at least 80,000 children have been orphaned due to the pandemic. In March 2005, five college students and two faculty leaders went to Swaziland as part of Goshen College's Peace and Justice Journalism Project to meet with both those who are suffering and those who are committed to affecting change for the survival of a people.
