Little Red Wagon: Miracle Renewed

This is a simple Christmas story about a little Mexican boy who wants a red wagon for Christmas. He prays, promising Jesus a ride in the wagon. The pastor of the local church is horrified to find that on Christmas morning the "Christ Child" is missing from the manger scene in the church. When the Christ Child shows up in Pedro's new red wagon - this is just too much! The pastor scolds and then comes to know that Pedro understands true giving. After all, God has joined the human story and calls all of us to participate in a miracle that renews in each of our lives and in each community we are part of.
