Aging Parent Milestone: Affirming Primary Care Givers

Taking care of an aging parent is not easy. Recognizing this milestone in the lives of those who have taken on the role of caregiver for an aging parent is important. Whether the choice is to move a parent to a long-term care residence or provide a space and setting in one’s own home, there is a need for a support system.

This milestone helps participants recognize this time in their lives as “life changing” for both the parent and the adult child and includes involvement from the faith community to uplift, bless, and help support these individuals and their families.
