MWC 2015 Assembly Closing Worship Resources: Walking with God - Stepping Forward

During the week of 21 to 26 July, the 16th Mennonite World Conference Assembly, Pennsylvania 2015, is being held in Harrisburg, PA. Several thousand guests from more than 70 countries are gathered in community, fellowship and worship, under the theme "Walking with God."

Throughout the week, participants are involved in workshops, service opportunities, friendship groups, field trips and exhibits. Many who were unable to participate in Assembly Gathered in Harrisburg joined by live streaming at home and offered resources and prayers to support this wonderful gathering of people from around the world.

Today, Sunday 26 July 2015, those who were gathered in Harrisburg throughout the week have traveled to close by congregations to celebrate in Sunday morning worship with hosts in Pennsylvania. At the same time brothers and sisters around the world are gathering in different places and time zones to celebrate and worship our journey with God. Whether you are in Pennsylvania or in another community and congregation around the world, you are part of this larger community of faith. Today you are invited to join with other Anabaptist Christians worshipping and serving God around the common theme of "Walking with God – Stepping Forward."
