On the journey of their calling to serve Native and Indigenous people, Sue Martell and her husband Ray intersected with the late Dr Richard (Sicangu Lakota) Twiss and Katherine Twiss in 2009. Part one of this book recounts their separate and then mutual stories until and beyond Richard's unexpected passing in February 2013.
