My Journey from Silence to Solidarity
In the first edition of My Journey from Silence to Solidarity, Fr. Roy Bourgeois told how he was called to the priesthood during the Vietnam War, how his ministry became oriented around peace and justice issues, and how he became an advocate for gender equality in the Catholic Church. When he wrote the booklet, he was under fire from the Vatican for supporting women's ordination.
This second edition updates the reader regarding Fr. Roy's expulsion from his religious community and the priesthood as well as his ongoing advocacy.
Please note that the loan copy is the first edition.
