Call Us Anew: How Then Shall We Live?

How Then Shall We Live? explores the collection of Jesus' teachings we've come to know as the Sermon on the Mount. From the earliest days of Anabaptism to the present, these teachings have been particularly cherished by believers seeking to know the mind of Christ. In these two chapter of Matthew we gain an understanding of what the reign of God is like and how we are to live in relationship with both friend and enemy. The Sermon on the Mount also sheds light on how Jesus' ministry changed the religious landscape in his time and for all time. As the fulfillment of the law given to Moses, Jesus challenged the old ways of thinking and called people to a new level of faithfulness.
