Worship Matters: Volume One

The twenty-three articles plus the introduction address the theological and liturgical questions raised for United Methodist worship by two primary contexts: the church itself and the quickly changing landscape of North American culture.

The central claim of this volume is that the United Methodist theological and liturgical heritage - as expressed in the denomination's official worship texts - contains the resources for creating worship contexts that are both inviting and nurturing.
