Living Beyond Our Means: The Extravagance of Biblical Stewardship

Young people live in a world that is highly influenced by attitudes toward money and possessions. This unit will help youth acknowledge God as Creator, Owner, and Giver, and help them realize that being a good steward is one way to show love for God. Because, as a whole, North American young people are affluent, they need to be challenged to make lifestyle choices and life-shaping commitments that reflect a Christian understanding of stewardship, which includes voluntary poverty and responsibility for the gifts God gives us.
