Five-session study helps junior high youth challenge the violence around them by promoting "heroes" who live out Christ's call to be peacemakers. It examines the lives of five people who worked for peace--Jesus, Mother Teresa, Francis of Assisi, John Perkins, and Muriel Lester. It combines the stories of these peace heroes with Scripture to inspire youth to become peacemakers in their communities.

Encourages and empowers young people to take up Christ's call to be peacemakers in the world around them. Through biblical insight and the lives and actions of real people, the lessons show that peacemaking does and can make a difference.
