Life Worth Living: Issues in Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide: #2

1995, 20 pp
A study pamphlet by the Council on Faith and Life of the Conference of Mennonites in Canada on the matter of dying and of relating with those in our communities who are dying.

A main thesis is that when people live in community they report a lower level of pain/suffering, and value life more highly. Euthanasia is the inevitable result of a society that views individuals as producers/consumers, not as souls or members of community, or as persons in the image of God.

A recommended resource of study in the Mennonite church.
