So You've Been Asked to ...: Greet or Usher

When we extend hospitality to one another in worship, the level of strangeness between us is reduced. The member and the guest become united in Christ's love. Our motivation for greeting and ushering in the name of Christ? We were once aliens. We were strangers to grace. But God has welcomed us and called us friends through Jesus Christ, and we in turn create a welcome space for guests so they (and we) may meet God.

This pamphlet offers practical tips on how to offer such hospitality through the roles of greeter and usher, as well as ways to view these roles as a ministry of hospitality.
