What if Peace Prevailed?

2003, 4 pp
A sermon preached by Peter Stucky from Columbia, South America at the St. Catharines Assembly in 2003.

Peter asks, "What would it take for peace to come? In Columbia, we live in a country at war, a 50 year old civil war, but in the midst of that war our churches are planting seeds of peace...The first thing we must realize is that peace is a gift of God..."

How is peace to come?
  • Prayer, for God to send His precious gift of peace to us
  • Solidarity, to begin living peace in our own faith
  • Risk-taking for peace and willingness to pay the price
  • Perseverance
