BikeMovement: A Mennonite Young Adult Perspective on Church
PART OF SERIES Missio Dei Series: Exploring God's work in the World
2007, 27 pp
In July and August 2006, a group of young Mennonites cycled across the United States. The bikers chose to ride for a variety of reasons - adventure, love of biking , connecting and nature, hanging out with other young adults.
Beneath it all, however, was a deeper longing and purpose - to engage in conversations about the church. "We rode more than 3,000 miles and had at least as many conversations," writes Tim Showalter in the Preface, "because we take church - and God's mission in the world - seriously. We invite you to join in the conversation as you read our reflections."
