Preparing to Serve: Training for Cross-Cultural Mission

Progress in providing excellent cross-cultural training has been slow, particularly in the Two-Thirds World. Until the last decade little attention had been given to the preparation of cross-cultural missionaries. In June 1989, the World Evangelical Fellowship Missions Commission initiated a consultation in Manila which spawned heightened interest in cross-cultural missionary training, both in the West and in the Two-Thirds World. This book provides a comprehensive introduction to cross-cultural missionary training.
