Forest Church and Wild Church are synonymous names for Christian groups who are taking worship outside of the building to intentionally reconnect their faith with creation. Wendy Janzen serves as Eco-Minister for Mennonite Church Eastern Canada, and is pastor of Burning Bush Forest Church, a outdoor worshipping community that has been meeting in public parks in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON, since 2016.
