Lessons from Nature: Poster and Activity Sheet

We recommend introducing this free downloadable poster and activity guide to children ages eight and up. However, kids don’t develop on the same timeline and some are more sensitive than others so please approach and adapt the activity and conversation with care and consideration.

Younger kids are just beginning to learn about their relationship with the world and might not be ready to hear about climate change. If kids aren’t asking or expressing concern about climate change yet, it’s a good time to focus on the joys of nature and leave the difficult conversations about climate change for when they’re older.
